From 12 th – 14 th June 2026, PEUGEOT and mk2 unveil Drive-In Paradiso by PEUGEOT, a unique open-air cinema experience at the heart of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. A complementary experience, to be enjoyed from inside iconic PEUGEOT vehicles.

The 2026 edition of the legendary endurance race, sees PEUGEOT and mk2 imagine a new format at the crossroads of cinema and automotive culture. Set up trackside, Drive-In Paradiso by PEUGEOT will offer the public a 24-hour open-air screening experience in an extraordinary setting, at one of the world’s greatest motorsport events. The event is part of the celebrations to mark 100 years of PEUGEOT’s presence at Le Mans, inviting the public to rediscover films that have shaped the automotive imagination, with iconic PEUGEOT vehicles positioned in front of the screen.

This new event extends the story of Cinéma Paradiso, the open-air film festival created in 2013 by mk2, which has become a popular, festive and inclusive event over the years. Born from a drive-in under the glass roof of the Grand Palais and later staged in iconic venues such as the Louvre Museum, Cinéma Paradiso returns to one of its founding characteristics: watching a film from inside a car, with an extraordinary setting. Turning cinema into an experience to be lived as much as watched.

PEUGEOT and mk2, the coming together of two iconic French brands

This collaboration naturally brings together two French players united by a shared connection to cinema, combining their expertise and creative worlds. mk2 is well known for its production and distribution of films and creating venues and experiences where cinema can be lived, designing formats that extend the big-screen experience and transform screenings into events. Whilst PEUGEOT maintains a longstanding relationship with the seventh art that is Cinema, both on screen and in real life. Through this commitment PEUGEOT reaffirms its ambition to become a lasting presence in major cinematic events.

At Le Mans, this meeting takes on a particular significance: the 24 Hours of Le Mans is far more than just a race. It carries an imagination, a tension, a dramaturgy and a visual power that already belong to the language of cinema. By embedding Drive-In Paradiso within it, PEUGEOT and mk2 are creating a format in which cinema no longer merely tells the story of the road, speed or automotive legend it inhabits it for 24 hours.

Valérie Candeiller, Global Communications Director at PEUGEOT, said: “With Drive-In Paradiso by PEUGEOT, we wanted to create a fully immersive cultural experience, worthy of the symbolic power of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. By bringing together cinema and the automobile in a place steeped in history, we are demonstrating PEUGEOT’s ability to connect sport, culture and emotion, and to offer the public moments of shared experience that are as unexpected as they are unforgettable.”

Elisha Karmitz, CEO of the mk2 group, said: “Since its creation, our Cinéma Paradiso festival has sought to move cinema beyond its traditional settings, turning it into a moment of sharing, celebration and collective memory. By partnering with PEUGEOT to create Drive-In Paradiso by PEUGEOT at the heart of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, we are reconnecting with the spirit of the drive-in in a place that already carries an exceptional narrative and imaginative power, alongside a major player in the automotive world whose vehicles have marked the history of cinema.”
