Stellantis Upgrades Its Connected Services Offer To Better Meet Customer Needs
- A simplified connected service offer built around two packs: Connect ONE (available for all customers for 10 years) and Connect PLUS (trial period, then available by subscription)
- Both packs are enriched with additional services, while maintaining existing pricing
- New services, such as e-ROUTES by Free2move Charge, e-Remote Control, and Stolen Vehicle Tracking Assistance, are integrated into the updated packages.
Stellantis is simplifying and enriching its connected services offer with a new structure based on two service packs: Connect ONE, included in the vehicle purchase price and valid for 10 years, and Connect PLUS, available by subscription after a trial period.
Connect One: Extended Capabilities For Electrified Vehicles
The Connect ONE pack is now enhanced with e-Remote Control for all Stellantis brands and e-ROUTES by Free2move Charge for Opel and Peugeot.
This feature enables drivers of electric and plug in hybrid vehicles to manage charging and preconditioning directly from their smartphone. In addition to improving cabin comfort, this feature supports more efficient energy use by helping preserve battery range at the start of each journey.
Connect Plus: Enhanced Safety And Entertainment
The additional Connect PLUS pack is expanded with two additional services that enhance both onboard and remote vehicle use:
- Amazon Alexa voice services (Alexa Vehicle to Home): drivers can control their smart home devices directly from their vehicle via Amazon Alexa.
- Theft prevention and assistance (Stolen Vehicle Tracking Assistance): this system allows the vehicle to be tracked in the event of theft and enables law enforcement assistance by providing access to the vehicle’s location mode for quicker recovery.
These services are now included in the Connect PLUS pack at no additional cost.
Connected Services, Continuously Evolving
Stellantis’ connected services are continually evolving to better meet customer needs.
While Stolen Vehicle Tracking Assistance addresses growing customer concerns about rising car theft rates, e-ROUTES supports the increasing adoption of electric vehicles by simplifying charging related trip planning.
e-ROUTES by Free2move Charge is an intelligent copilot accessible directly from the vehicle, whether or not it is equipped with built-in navigation, operating via mirroring.
This service supports optimized trip planning by calculating the most suitable route based on several criteria, including electric vehicle range, charging station availability, traffic conditions, total distance, and driving behavior.
This enables a more accurate estimation of vehicle range and more efficient planning of required charging stops during a journey.
By taking into account driver preferences and real‑time data, e‑ROUTES helps adapt route planning to individual needs while simplifying charging‑related trip planning for electric vehicle users.
Additionally, the interface has been improved with a wider route display and real time visualization of traffic conditions (traffic jams, accidents, etc.).
Just like Peugeot and Opel, which have integrated e‑ROUTES into their Connect ONE pack, Stellantis brands can tailor their connected services offer in terms of content, duration, and pricing.
