Americas Cardroom Sets New High with $25K Buy-In Highest Five Poker Tournament
Americas Cardroom, a leading online poker site, delivered one of its biggest tournament days, led by its highest buy-in event to date and strong participation across its High Five tournament series and Dual Mystery Bounty Venom tournaments.
The $25,000 + $500 “Phil’s Puff & Bluff” tournament drew 53 entries and built a $1,325,000 prize pool. AlwaysWithNuts won the event for $371,000, with OutFoxenYou and Iauspicious finishing second and third.
The $5,000 + $200 “Blunt Special” added further high-stakes action, attracting 113 players and generating $565,000 in prizes. ImWinninAnyway claimed first place for $127,125.

The Dual Mystery Bounty Venom events also continued to grow. Day 1C of the $8 Million GTD NLH tournament saw 779 entries, with 94 players advancing. The $2 Million GTD PLO event recorded 189 entries on Day 1A, with 23 advancing.
Across the schedule, the $109 “Moneymaker Reefer” reached its $350,000 guarantee with 496 entries. RiverNutzzz took first place, earning $55,228.95.
The new Highest Five format introduces two high-stakes events daily, running alongside 10 High Five tournaments each day.
With more Venom flights and High Five events still to come, the series continues to deliver strong participation across all buy-in levels.
