Channel 4 releases first look images for brand new comedy Make That Movie starring Sam Campbell
Channel 4 has now released the first look images for Make That Movie, a new six-episode comedy series starring Sam Campbell (Taskmaster, Last One Laughing).
Created by Campbell and directed by Joe Pelling (Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared), Make That Movie is produced by Blink Industries (Dead End: Paranormal Park, Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared) and will air on Channel 4 next month.
Make That Movie focuses on a hotshot director, played by stand-up comedian and actor Sam Campbell who scours the country for everyday people who have an idea for a feature film. Sam and his team then race against the clock as they attempt to transform the idea into a film in just three days.
Starring as Sam’s elite crew of filmmakers are: Lara Ricote (Mitchell and Webb Are Not Helping, Break Clause) as runner Jess, Aaron Chen (Fisk) as intimacy coordinator Sebastian, Helen Bauer (Am I Being Unreasonable?) as sound engineer Pat, and David Hargreaves (This Country) as cinematographer Winnie.
Make That Movie was commissioned for Channel 4 by Charlie Perkins, Head of Comedy and Joe Hullait, Commissioning Executive. Executive Producers are Adam Tandy, James Stevenson Bretton, Sam Campbell and Joe Pelling and the producer is William Kay.
BBC Studios is handling global sales.
