MUTINY, the new Sky Original action thriller starring Jason Statham will premiere in UK cinemas on 21 August and Sky Cinema later this year.
After witnessing his billionaire boss’ murder and being framed for the crime, Cole Reed (Statham) boards a cargo ship on a one-man crusade to avenge his boss’ death, only to discover an international conspiracy.

Directed by Jean‑François Richet (Plane, The Emperor of Paris) and written by Lindsay Michel and J.P. Davis, MUTINY unites major action powerhouses, with Jason Statham also producing through his company Punch Palace Productions (The Beekeeper, A Working Man, The Expendables 4), alongside Marc Butan of MadRiver Pictures (The Trial of the Chicago 7, Ad Astra, Plane).
Andrew Orr, Head of Original Film at Sky said:
“We are delighted to be working with Jason Statham again after the incredible success of THE BEEKEEPER. Our audience love premium action films and MUTINY delivers on every level. It is a fast‑paced, high‑stakes thriller driven by an exceptional creative team, making it a perfect addition to Sky’s Original film slate.”
