Ulster Senior Football Championship - five live games on BBC Sport NI

Two Ulster heavyweights get this year’s Ulster Senior Football Championship underway with live coverage of the opener on BBC Sport NI.

Last year’s beaten Ulster finalists, Armagh, host neighbours Tyrone at the Athletic Grounds in the opening round on Sunday 12 April - a repeat of last year’s semi-final when the Orchard County edged out Tyrone to book their place in the final.

Mark Sidebottom and Sarah Mulkerrins present BBC Sport NI’s live coverage of this year’s Championship on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two Northern Ireland, with Thomas Niblock on commentary, alongside an expert panel of pundits and analysts including Philly McMahon, Conor McManus, Owen Mulligan and Brendan Devenney.

Mark presents the action from the opener in Armagh and will be joined by former Tyrone All-Ireland winner, Conor Meyler and Niall Grimley who lifted the Sam Maguire in 2024 with Armagh and Philly McMahon. Conor McManus will be alongside Thomas Niblock on commentary with coverage starting at 4pm.

There’s a double-header of live action coming up the following weekend with Derry taking on Antrim on Saturday (April 18) followed by Monaghan and Cavan on Sunday (April 19).

BBC Sport NI’s live coverage continues with the second semi-final on Sunday 3 May before live coverage of the Ulster Final on Sunday 17 May.
