PBS Celebrates Nominations for the 47th Annual News & Documentary Emmy® Awards

PBS celebrates over 50 collective nominations for the 47th Annual News & Documentary Emmy® Awards, announced by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

PBS’s wide-ranging nominations from its national and local producers encompass PBS NEWS HOUR, FRONTLINE, BREAKING THE DEADLOCK, NOVA, WASHINGTON WEEK WITH THE ATLANTIC, NATURE, VOCES, ITVS, and INDEPENDENT LENS, along with The WNET Group, WETA, GBH, and Maryland Public Television, among others, reaffirming PBS’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality storytelling as a trusted and reliable source. This year’s awards will be presented in two back-to-back ceremonies at the Palladium Times Square Theater in New York City on Wednesday, May 27 and Thursday, May 28.
