Rakuten Travel Xchange Appoints New CEO

Rakuten Group, Inc. announced the appointment of James Park as CEO of Rakuten Travel Xchange Pte. Ltd.

Park began his career in the hospitality sector before transitioning into the online travel industry. During his tenure at Rakuten, he has served as Country Manager of Rakuten Travel Korea before taking on broader leadership responsibilities in global country management. Drawing on his experience leading a travel startup, he brings practical insights and operational expertise to his role overseeing multi-market operations for both Rakuten Travel Xchange, a popular hotel accommodation distribution service, and Rakuten Travel, a leading online travel agency.
