IKEA U.S. celebrates the grand opening of IKEA Phoenix on April 8, bringing a more convenient shopping experience to the Valley

IKEA U.S. is proud to announce the grand opening of IKEA Phoenix, a new small‑format store designed to bring affordable, well‑designed home furnishings closer to the many people in the Valley. Opening April 8, 2026, the store marks the latest step in an ongoing strategic journey to improve accessibility and convenience through new retail formats and omni-channel innovations.

“The opening of IKEA Phoenix represents an exciting next step in our commitment to make shopping with IKEA easier, more convenient and more accessible for the many people,” said Rob Olson, interim CEO of IKEA U.S. “Across the United States, we’ve been expanding with new formats and investing in innovative ways to meet customers where they are — whether through smaller, more flexible store designs or enhanced digital services that simplify the shopping journey. This new store reflects that strategy by bringing well-designed, affordable home furnishings closer to more communities while improving the overall customer experience.”

Located at Village Square II shopping center, 4643 E. Cactus Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85032, the 75,000-square-foot store includes over 4,000 products on display with a curated selection of over 3,000 products for immediate takeaway. Customers will also have access to a central planning area for personalized design consultations, an As-Is Department with sustainable furnishing options and a Swedish food experience that serves beloved IKEA favorites like meatballs, plant balls, hot dogs, veggie dogs and more to enjoy in-store or to eat at home later.

The community is invited to celebrate the grand opening of IKEA Phoenix on April 8. Festivities will kick off at 8:00AM with exciting giveaways; coffee and cinnamon buns and doors will open to customers starting at 9:30AM. Be among the first to explore the new store, enjoy specialsurprises and join in the fun as we welcome Phoenix to the IKEA family. Regular store hours will be Monday- Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

IKEA U.S. has made significant investments to enhance its omnichannel experience and service offerings, including the announcement of a $2.2 billion investment in its growth strategy over three years. This includes expanding e-commerce, opening new store formats, adding more than 74 pick-up points and 21,000 FedEx parcel points and offering services like home delivery, Click & Collect and remote planning.
