Get ready for some wondrous new content for Super Mario Bros. Wonder—exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2!

WEBWIRE

The Super Mario Bros.™ Wonder – Nintendo Switch™ 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park game is out now and brings a bouquet of new experiences to the Flower Kingdom. Nintendo Switch 2 players will be able to check out Bellabel Park and visit the new areas there: the challenging Toad Brigade Training Camp, Local Multiplayer Plaza, Game Room Plaza, and Tour Plaza. Rosalina and Co-Star Luma are also playable in this enhanced version, and there’s new main game content involving the Koopalings!

There’s a lot to cover, so let’s get a deeper look, shall we?

Additions to the main game

Rosalina, Co-Star Luma, and Koopalings—oh my! Yep, the main game also has new content as well, such as the ability to play as Rosalina, a new Flower transformation, and Dual Badges that can make the game easier or more challenging. While playing with two or more players, a player can control Co-Star Luma to provide helpful support—from defeating enemies to collecting coins. Newcomers can also use Assist Mode to turn off damage and help with that whole “falling off ledges” thing that tends to happen in platformers.

Finally, get ready to battle each of the seven Koopalings in new boss courses that appear as you progress through the game. Who knows what forms those pesky Koopalings will take…

Toad Brigade Training Camp

Let’s now trek over to Camp Central. In the Toad Brigade Tent, you can play special challenges that take place in courses from the main game. Up to four players* can tackle challenges together, but this can also be a fun time for solo players as well. The deeper you progress through these 70+ challenges, the more daring it gets.

(Good luck with this one!)

Local Multiplayer Plaza

Ready for a bit of multiplayer* mayhem?

In Local Multiplayer Plaza, you’ll find 17 different attractions in versus or co-op play, and up to four people can join in on the same system.

An example of an attraction is Look Out! Bob-omb Relay, where players will need to work together to carry a Bob-omb to the end of a course. To spice it up, the game will keep swapping who should carry the Bob-omb…which maaay lead to bouts of frantic teamwork.

Meanwhile, in Baby Yoshi’s Feeding Time, players will battle each other to feed their Baby Yoshi the most fruit.

There are a wide range of attractions, so check ’em out!

Game Room Plaza

Head over here for attractions that use local wireless* (up to eight players) or online play** (up to twelve players). You’ll find six attractions in this area, such as the Rip-Roar! Roller Skate Race. If you guessed that it involves players racing through a course in oversized roller skates…you are really good at guessing!

Tour Plaza

In Tour Plaza, you’ll play a series of different attractions in a row, either as a free-for-all, in teams, or cooperatively. This can be played with up to three other players if you are playing on the same system, or up to 11 friends if you are in a Game Room. It’s great for parties or other merry get-togethers!

Customize Bellabel Park

By playing attractions and trainings, you’ll earn Bellabel Water, which can be used to grow an interesting assortment of flowers. Some can be used to decorate the park, some give you new greetings, and others can inject a bit of musical energy into the park.

Share the fun with GameShare

Looking to play together with your friends, but they don’t have the game? Not to worry—GameShare*** allows you to share your game with up to three other players either in person or online.

How to upgrade

One final note—if you already have the Nintendo Switch version of the game, remember that you only need to buy the upgrade pack**** to access the new content. You can make a purchase or learn more at the link below!
