- An original film celebrating an iconic partnership: PEUGEOT and PATHÉ unveil “The Lion and the Rooster,” an original film that, for the first time, brings together the PEUGEOT lion and the PATHÉ rooster. Two powerful symbols of French heritage to embody their partnership and shared values.
- The film tells the story of the lion and the rooster meeting at dawn, guided by the strength of their respective roar and crow. With these two figures coming together to begin a new chapter.
- A tribute to French cinema and artistic creation. The film is created entirely through CGI by a French studio, featuring the emblems of both PEUGEOT and PATHÉ, reaffirming both brands’ commitment to cultural vitality and the influence of French cinema.
A creative alliance in the service of French cinema
This project is part of the strong momentum of the partnership between PEUGEOT and PATHÉ, two French institutions driven by the same passion: celebrating creativity, revealing talent, and supporting works that spark emotion.
The coming together of the lion and the rooster, embodies the alliance of two forces deeply rooted in collective imagination: Poise, confidence and French charisma embodied by PEUGEOT; and the inspiration, emotion, and cultural influence represented by PATHÉ. Together, expressing their shared ambition to elevate French cinema, both in France and beyond.
By bringing their respective emblems to life, PEUGEOT and PATHÉ are making a powerful statement that unites two French signatures known for their high standards, innovative spirit, and dedication to artistic creation.
A cinematic creation with meaning
“The Lion and the Rooster” is more than just a title: it is a celebration of the natural connection between two major contributors to the French cultural landscape.
The story takes place in France. With the Lion in Belfort and the Doubs mountains, whilst the Rooster is in Paris, perched amongst the rooftops.
Suddenly, the Lion and the Rooster hear each other from afar. Impressed by the strength of their respective calls, they decide to meet, guided by each other’s echo.
After racing across French landscapes, the lion and the rooster finally come together, united and in harmony, to celebrate the sunrise and their newfound alliance.
Through an elegant, rhythmic, and emotional direction, the film illustrates their worlds. Combining raw strength and sound power, movement and awakening, boldness and voice. All elements that audiences seek in cinema: sensations, emotions, and a renewed sense of wonder.
