Registration for the Splatoon 3 North American League 2026 season is now open!

Get ready for a splat-tastic season of competition with teams from across the region as they show their stuff. The league will host events on three days each week:

• Friday – Show Day: Tune in to catch up on league news, see the latest action, and more.

• Saturday – League Play: Compete against teams from across North America. To cap off the day, a livestream will feature the top 8 teams squaring off in a double elimination bracket!

• Sunday – Casual Play: Join us for the Sunday Scrim! Everyone’s invited to play Salmon Run.

From April 3 to June 5, tune in on Fridays at 10 a.m. PT to catch up on the latest around the league. This weekly show includes:

• An introduction to action from around the league this week

• A recap of what’s happened in the overall competition so far

• Panel discussions with members of the Splatoon 3 community

• Tips and tricks for new and experienced players—and some fun activities too!

Every Saturday from April 4 to June 6 dive in and compete against teams from across North America! Play begins at 12 p.m. PT each day. There will be two preseason weeks for practice, followed by eight regular-season weeks in which teams will battle it out for points in the standings—with playoffs at the end to decide it all!

League registration is open from now until June 6 at 12PM PT*.

Each preseason and regular-season event begins with a Ladder Round in which teams vie for points to add to their Event Score. The top eight teams with the highest Event Scores will then advance to a double elimination Top 8 bracket for that week.

The Ladder Round starts at 12 p.m. PT, the Top 8 begins at 4 p.m. PT, and you can visit http://www.youtube.com/Nintendo to watch it live on stream!

At the end of each week, teams will be awarded points based on their placement in the Ladder Round and their position in the Top 8 (if applicable). These points will be combined into an overall Event Score for that week.

Season Standings are determined based on each team’s top four Event Scores from the regular season.

The eight teams with the highest Season Standings at the end of Event #10 may be eligible to advance to the playoffs.

There will be one Top Team following the regular season, based on the Season Standings. Each member of the Top Team will receive a Splatoon 3 North American League Top Team Trophy!

From April 5 through June 7, everyone is invited to a Salmon Run competition every Sunday starting at 12 p.m. PT. Join alone, as a pair or trio, or even with a full team through the tournament manager in the Nintendo Switch app**. There won’t be any prizes for this one, though—the Sunday Scrim is just for fun.

The eight teams with the highest Season Standings at the end of Event #10 will square off in a double elimination playoff tournament consisting of best-of-five matches. Tune in to http://www.youtube.com/Nintendo to see all the matches streamed live starting at these times:

Following the playoffs, there will be a Grand Prize for the highest-placing team, one First Prize and one Second Prize each for the next highest-placing teams, and five Third Prizes for the remaining teams. Prizes will be received by each member of the winning teams.
