About the Author
David Shamszad grew up in the Bay Area and graduated from Dartmouth College. As a teen and young adult, he spent more than a decade battling untreated bipolar disorder and addiction to drugs and alcohol. Through treatment and support, he found sobriety, mental health, and professional success as the founder and CEO of SG Real Estate. David now uses his own experiences of treatment and recovery to be of service to others at risk of, or struggling with, mental illness and/or addiction.
