ACR Poker Phil’s Thrill XXL Surpasses $1.5 Million Guarantee as Cryptocurrency Powers High-Stakes Play

ACR Poker has announced the successful completion of the $10,300 Phil’s Thrill XXL, a special edition of the platform’s biggest buy-in tournament. The event not only delivered on its ambitious $1.5 million guarantee, but significantly exceeded it, highlighting how cryptocurrency continues to fuel the growth of major online poker tournaments.

The XXL edition expanded on the popular weekly Phil’s Thrill high roller event named after ACR Poker CEO Phil Nagy. While the regular version of Phil’s Thrill does not carry a guarantee, the special edition attached a $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool, ensuring it was the largest installment of the tournament to date.

The event attracted 206 entries, pushing the total prize pool to $2,060,000, with 27 finishing in the money. After nearly eight and a half hours of play, ErculePokero emerged victorious, capturing the title and $496,027 in first-place prize money. Nagy also competed in the event as usual, finishing in 96th.
