Warner Music, ADA and LAB Records today announce a new joint venture partnership with one of the UK’s most explosive guitar bands, The K’s. This innovative deal follows a career-defining 2025 for the four-piece and sets the stage for their highly anticipated third studio album, slated for release in 2027.

The partnership comes hot on the heels of the band’s second album, Pretty On The Internet, which skyrocketed to No.1 in the UK in August 2025. The record achieved over 25k sales in its opening week, double the first-week figures of the band’s 2024 debut, and is ranked in the UK’s Top 10 best-selling independent albums of 2025.

As part of the new JV, the next album will be worked by LAB Records and ADA, the independent distribution and label services arm of Warner Music Group, in the UK, and Warner Music frontline teams around the world, with renowned Atlantic Records UK A&R Craig Shardlow working closely with the band to make the record.

The K’s momentum shows no signs of slowing with their debut album, I Wonder If The World Knows, on track to be certified Silver next week. Collectively, the band has surpassed 90k UK album sales since April 2024, and generated nearly 50M streams in 2025 alone. This commercial success is mirrored by an explosive live trajectory. Following a year in which they played to more than 300k fans worldwide, the band has already sold out their largest-ever headline show at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl for this summer.

Mark Orr, Founder and MD of LAB Records, said: “Having broken new ground with The K’s on their first two records – we are delighted to evolve our relationship with Warner and ADA as part of this fresh, unique joint venture. The goal has always been to retain the creative freedom and DIY spirit that has served this project so well to date, whilst not limiting the band or our ambitions globally. We have already shared some career defining moments together – watching them hold the ‘Number One’ trophy aloft on stage in Kendal last August is something the team and I will truly never forget. I can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds!”

David Cameron-Pryde of LAMA Music Group added: “The growth we’ve seen over the last 15 months has been nothing short of phenomenal. To double your week-one sales from one album to the next is rare, but it speaks to the connection the band has with their fans. This new partnership provides the perfect platform to build on that foundation as we look toward the 2027 album and even larger stages globally.”

Howard Corner, Managing Director of ADA UK, commented: “The K’s are the quintessential ADA success story – a fiercely independent, hardworking band that has built a massive community through great music and relentless touring. Reaching No.1 was a landmark moment not just for the band, but for independent music in the North. We are thrilled to deepen our commitment to them and LAB Records through this innovative JV, as we collectively aim for even greater milestones in the years ahead.”
