H&M Atelier SS26 Collection Embodies a Refined Coastal Ease

The collection reads like a well-curated travel edit: pocket-front shirts, Henley tees, and sleeveless knits act as foundations, layered beneath relaxed blazers and airy windbreakers. Cargo trousers, Bermuda shorts cut below the knee, and pleated pants that pool at the ankle define the season’s elongated, laid-back silhouette. Fits are generously proportioned, with untucked shirttails emerging from beneath technical outerwear and knitwear—an artful ease achieved through relaxed proportions and considered layering.

The fabrication story unfolds through compelling contrasts underlined by an inherent softness: rustic and tactile yarns, soft cottons and suede, alongside the pragmatism of technical fabrics. Each piece carries a lived-in character, enhanced by a sun-bleached colour palette drawn from Provence — the coastal city of Marseille and the arid beauty of the surrounding landscapes —dusty earth tones, faded mint, and washed denim that looks cool and comfortable.
