Breaking the Silence: “Women’s Role in Kingdom Building: Do You Know Your Role?” by Dr Evelyn J Williams-Reason, Confronts Gender Barriers in the Church
In “Women’s Role in Kingdom Building,” Dr. Evelyn shares a relevant and impactful message to both men and women dealing the frequently unsaid boundaries in ministry. Based on her more than thirty years of practical ministry experience, Dr. Evelyn provides an open, intimate, and provocative look at what it means for women to advance God’s Kingdom outside of the pulpit.
For years, women in ministry have faced resistance, skepticism and outright exclusion. “I knew I had a calling from God for at least ten years before I accepted it,” Dr. Evelyn admits in the book. “What held me back? Watching how women were disrespected, dismissed, and discouraged by male pastors who didn’t see value in their calling. Some wouldn’t even allow women to speak from ’their’ pulpits.”
Despite the resistance, Dr. Evelyn continued to serve faithfully and eventually came to a powerful realization not every road to Kingdom building has to lead to the pulpit. This book is her call to action for women to stop second-guessing themselves and start discovering the divine assignments meant specifically for them.
“Women’s Role in Kingdom Building” is a spiritual manual and rallying cry that goes beyond a simple memoir or theological analysis. It inspires women to follow their divine calling in spite of institutional or cultural constraints. It also pushes males in ministry to reflect more closely and honestly how they view and work together with women who have been called by God.
“This book isn’t just for women,” Dr. Evelyn emphasizes. “It’s for men, too especially those who are ready to move past outdated thinking and gain a deeper understanding of how women truly contribute to the mission of the Church.”
Whether you’re a woman wrestling with your calling or a man seeking to broaden your perspective, “Women’s Role in Kingdom Building” offers fresh insight, biblical truth, and heartfelt encouragement. It’s a bold reminder that Kingdom work requires everyone regardless of gender.
