Surpassing the 300‑hotel milestone and growing its pipeline beyond 150 properties across the Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton builds on its momentum into 2026
2025 was a defining year for Hilton in the Caribbean and Latin America, as we reached new milestones and reinforced our leadership in the luxury and lifestyle segment.
Hilton (NYSE: HLT) ended 2025 with record growth across the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA), topping 300 operating hotels in 35 countries and territories and advancing a pipeline of more than 150 properties representing over 21,000 rooms. Fueled by strong demand for luxury and lifestyle resorts and residences as well as continued momentum in focused service brands, Hilton opened more than 30 hotels and signed a record number of deals in 2025. It added more than 70 new hotels and 7,800 rooms to its pipeline, which represents a 55 percent increase in the number of hotels and a more than 25 percent increase in added rooms versus 2024¹.
“2025 was a defining year for Hilton in the Caribbean and Latin America, as we reached new milestones and reinforced our leadership in the luxury and lifestyle segment,” said Pablo Maturana, vice president, development, architecture, design and construction, Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton. “Surpassing 300 hotels and growing our pipeline to more than 150 projects underscores the confidence owners and developers place in our brands. We look forward to building on this momentum and delivering even more exceptional stays for travelers in the years ahead.”
Lifestyle & Luxury Growth Soars
More than half of the year’s openings were across Hilton’s luxury and lifestyle brands, driving the segment’s portfolio beyond 100 hotels. Propelled by heightened traveler demand for curated, experiential stays, landmark openings included Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique, an oceanfront resort perched on a dramatic cliffside peninsula that marked the brand’s debut in the country when it opened in April; Zemi Miches Punta Cana All‑Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton, which is set along 2,000 feet of pristine beach and premiered in June in the Dominican Republic; and York Medellín, Curio Collection by Hilton, which debuted in Colombia as the city’s first Curio lifestyle hotel in December.
The company also advanced its branded residences strategy with new signings to satisfy demand for exceptional living by seamlessly blending Hilton’s legendary service with luxurious amenities to provide residents with exclusive access to signature dining, wellness experiences, and thoughtfully curated programming inspired by its award-winning brands.
In addition to the debut of Waldorf Astoria Residences Costa Rica in 2025, Hilton signed Waldorf Astoria Residences Guadalajara, the first ever standalone Waldorf Astoria branded residences in the Caribbean and Latin America, featuring one-to-four-bedroom homes and world-class amenities expected to debut in the next few years. Hilton also signed a new ultra‑luxury resort and residences in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, which will offer 170 guest rooms along with one‑ to four‑bedroom homes and is slated to join the LXR Hotels & Resorts collection in 2029. Both projects add to an exceptional pipeline of resorts and branded residences, including Waldorf Astoria Dellis Cay and AMARIS Grace Bay, LXR Hotels & Resorts, set to open in Turks & Caicos, as well as the highly anticipated Waldorf Astoria San Miguel de Allende and Conrad Los Cabos in Mexico.
To further accelerate its luxury momentum in the region, Hilton also signed two new Conrad hotels that will anchor its presence in key urban markets:
- Conrad Lima – A 21story oceanfront urban retreat rising above the Pacific in Lima’s vibrant Miraflores district, planned for 2028.
- Conrad Monterrey – Slated for debut in the next few years, will bring Conrad’s bold design and contemporary luxury to northern Mexico.
Across lifestyle brands, Hilton continues to expand its footprint in nearly 20 countries and territories, reinforcing rapid growth and meeting high‑demand for culturally relevant, distinctive experiences. Notable signings in 2025 include WIA Ushuaia, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Argentina; Casa di Sirena Sao Paulo Pinheiros, Curio Collection by Hilton and Casaway Mata Atlantica Morretes, Curio Collection by Hilton in Brazil; Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas, Curio by Hilton in the Dominican Republic; Chelsea Bogota Parque 93, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Cabo Hotel Guatape El Peñol, Curio Collection by Hilton in Colombia; Valle de Guadalupe, Curio Collection by Hilton in Mexico; and Sozo Paramaribo, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Suriname.
By the end of 2026, Hilton plans to welcome Casa Costa Ilhabela, Curio Collection by Hilton in Brazil and Montara Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Costa Rica as well as two new Motto by Hilton hotels: Motto by Hilton Recife Antigo in Brazil, a brand-first in Brazil, and Motto by Hilton Guadalajara Centro Historico in Mexico.
Strong Momentum Across All Brands

The company also plans to introduce Tempo by Hilton to the region in Costa Rica and Mexico.
Heading into 2026, Hilton is accelerating growth across its focused service brands in CALA with more than 90 hotels in the pipeline including its newest brand in the region Spark by Hilton. Growth continues to be fueled by strong owner and developer demand and by Hilton’s successful deployment of localized prototypes tailored to the region’s needs. Hilton launched CALA‑specific prototypes for Tru by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton and began construction on its first Home2 Suites by Hilton in the region, located in Monterrey Santa Catarina.
Recent openings include Hampton by Hilton Caraguatatuba Serramar in Brazil and Hilton Garden Inn Mexico City Polanco. Next year’s planned debuts span Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, highlighting expanding presence in high growth markets such as northeast Brazil with the opening Hilton Garden Inn Natal, Hilton Garden Inn Buenos Aires Parque Leloir in Argentina, and Hilton Garden Inn Pereira in Colombia.
