Apple TV and Apple Books celebrate season two of “The Last Thing He Told Me” with executive producer Reese Witherspoon, star and executive producer Jennifer Garner, cast members Angourie Rice, Judy Greer and Rita Wilson, and author, co-creator and executive producer Laura Dave

On Thursday, February 12 at The West Hollywood EDITION in Los Angeles, Apple TV and Apple Books celebrated the highly anticipated return of “The Last Thing He Told Me” with a live recording of the “Bookmarked” podcast from Reese’s Book Club, featuring the series’ stars, executive producers and author, Laura Dave. The second season of “The Last Thing He Told Me” will debut globally on Apple TV with the first episode on Friday, February 20, 2026, followed by one episode every Friday through April 10.

Executive producer Reese Witherspoon, star and executive producer Jennifer Garner, stars Angourie Rice, Judy Greer and Rita Wilson, and author, co-creator and executive producer Dave participated in the podcast discussion that was moderated by journalist and “Bookmarked” host Danielle Robay. Other event attendees included co-creator, co-showrunner and executive producer Josh Singer, and executive producers Lauren Neustadter (Hello Sunshine) and Merri D. Howard.

Based on “The First Time I Saw Him,” Dave’s instant New York Times bestselling sequel to her acclaimed No. 1 New York Times bestseller and Reese’s Book Club pick, season two of “The Last Thing He Told Me” stars and is executive produced by Jennifer Garner. In the second season, Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) shows up after five years on the run, and Hannah (Garner) and her stepdaughter Bailey (Angourie Rice) find themselves in a race to figure out how to reunite their family before the past catches up to them.

The second season also welcomes new and returning cast members Judy Greer, Rita Wilson, David Morse, Augusto Aguilera, Josh Hamilton, Nick Hargrove, Michael Galante, John Noble, Michael Hyatt, Luke Kirby and Elizabeth O’Donnell.

“The Last Thing He Told Me” is produced by 20th Television and Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, a part of Candle Media. Created and adapted by Dave alongside Academy Award-winning co-creator Singer, “The Last Thing He Told Me” was the first collaboration between the married couple, who both serve as executive producers alongside Garner and Hello Sunshine’s Witherspoon and Neustadter. Emmy Award nominee Aaron Zelman joins season two as co-showrunner and executive producer with Singer. Daisy von Scherler Mayer and Howard also serve as executive producers.
