ACR Poker Leverages Cryptocurrency to Launch $10,300 Phil’s Thrill XXL with $1.5 Million Guarantee

ACR Poker announced today the launch of Phil’s Thrill XXL, the largest buy-in tournament in the platform’s history. The $10,300 buy-in event features a special, supersized $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool and will take place Sunday, March 1st at 2:30pm ET.

The tournament underscores how cryptocurrency payments continue to enable larger online poker events by allowing players to deposit and withdraw higher amounts more efficiently than traditional payment methods. High-stakes players often require multiple buy-ins, and cryptocurrency removes many of the transaction limits commonly associated with credit cards and banking systems.

Ahead of Phil’s Thrill XXL, ACR Poker is running The Road to the Big One, a two-step satellite series allowing players to qualify for the event starting at just $95.

The satellite schedule includes $95 Beast Satellites on Sunday, February 15th and February 22nd at 5:05pm ET, each guaranteeing 50 seats into a $1,050 Mega Satellite. The Mega Satellites run Sunday, February 22nd and Sunday, March 1st at 11:05am ET, each guaranteeing 20 seats into Phil’s Thrill XXL.

Phil’s Thrill XXL is scheduled for Sunday, March 1st at 2:30pm ET with a $10,300 buy-in and a $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool.
