Visma acquires MaisMei, Brazil’s leading platform for micro entrepreneurs

Visma, a leading provider of mission-critical business software in Europe and Latin America, announces the acquisition of MaisMei, a leading Brazilian compliance-first app that simplifies day-to-day management, fiscal compliance, and sustainable growth journeys for Individual Micro Entrepreneurs (MEIs).

Based on strong tech and best in class customer satisfaction, MaisMei has successfully grown to serve 3.7 million customers since its founding in 2020, making it the largest private platform in the MEI segment. By combining accounting expertise with a user-friendly mobile interface, MaisMei addresses the operational hurdles faced by micro-businesses, even as they embrace digital payments and sales.

This transaction further strengthens Visma’s footprint in Brazil, following its acquisition of Conta Azul, a fast-growing cloud ERP financial management system tailored for small businesses and accounting offices, in August 2025.
