The London Football Awards have been running for over a decade and celebrate the best of the sport the capital has to offer, with Chelsea regularly taking home silverware.

Last year, Cole Palmer won two awards and was joined among the winners by Sonia Bompastor, Aggie Beever-Jones and Guro Reiten. In 2026, six Chelsea players are hoping their names go on the honour roll.

Caicedo is on the shortlist to succeed Palmer as 2025/26 Premier League Player of the Year. A key member of the Chelsea midfield this season and last, the Ecuador international has shown his importance on and off the ball, with his tally of three top-flight goals already his best in a single campaign.

His team-mate and fellow South American, Estevao, is nominated for the Men’s Young Player of the Year award after shining in his debut season in west London.

The Brazilian has found the net six times in all competitions, including in the brilliant 3-0 victory over Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League and our dramatic late winner against holders Liverpool in the Premier League.

Away from the men’s game, Walsh is on the shortlist for Women’s Super League Player of the Year after playing a crucial role in our long unbeaten run at the start of the season and netting the only goal of the game to give us a derby victory over Tottenham Hotspur. She also helped England retain the European Championship this summer.

In the Women’s Young Player of the Year category, Chelsea are represented by Thompson and Kaptein. The former has shone in her first season in English football, with the American’s six goals making her our top scorer in the WSL.

Kaptein, meanwhile, has continued to build on her impressive first season with the Blues after being nominated for last year’s Ballon d’Or.

Our final nominee is Chelsea stalwart and women’s captain Bright, who has been nominated for the Women’s PFA Player in the Community Champion award, which honours player-led community initiatives during 2025.

The winners of all the categories will be revealed at the 2026 London Football Awards ceremony at Exhibition White City on Thursday 5 March.

Good luck Blues!
