Visma’s e-conomic further strengthens its accounting platform with integrated payroll solution

e-conomic, Denmark’s preferred accounting platform and part of the Visma Group, has announced the launch of a fully integrated payroll solution. The move marks a milestone in e-conomic’s evolution from a pure accounting tool to a comprehensive business platform where accounting offices can manage all essential financial processes for their clients in one place.

Eliminating friction through integration
For years, managing payroll has been a fragmented process for many businesses, often requiring manual data transfers between disparate systems. This not only increases the risk of errors but also adds a significant administrative burden.

With the new “Løn” (Payroll) feature, accounting offices can now handle payroll, postings, and vouchers directly within the platform. When payroll is processed, entries are automatically created in the journal and payments are handled through the system, ensuring automatic compliance with the Danish Bookkeeping Act.

“We know from our customers that switching between systems and entering the same data multiple times is both resource-intensive and a waste of time,” says Karina Wellendorph, Managing Director at e-conomic. “Our most important task is to make their everyday lives easier. By gathering the entire accounting workflow in one place, we remove friction and provide better control.”

Built on a proven foundation
While the user experience is uniquely e-conomic, the technical foundation is built on the proven payroll engine from sister company DataLøn. The launch of Payroll follows the successful introduction of ‘Firmakort’ (Corporate Cards) last year, further cementing e-conomic’s position as a holistic business platform.
