Ventura, CA – WEBWIRE

When life feels heavy, when anxiety hums in the background, when discouragement shows up uninvited, when hope feels like work “Miracles that Soothe Your Soul: Want a Miracle? Expect one today!” arrives like a deep breath.

Written by minister, teacher, and international speaker Dr. Myrna L. Etheridge, this uplifting collection is built for readers who need something real, gentle, and strengthening easy reads with courage-building stories that steady the spirit and lift the eyes toward tomorrow. These pages take you into the lives of people “just like you,” who faced ordinary struggles and encountered something unexpected: a breakthrough, a shift, an unusual happening, a miracle that encouraged them right when they needed it most.

At the heart of the book is a simple invitation: think about the miracle you need and let your hope rise again. With relaxing reflections and testimonies that “do you good like medicine,” “Miracles That Soothe Your Soul” reminds readers that miracles are often the very thing you don’t expect… and the very thing that keeps you going.

Adding to its growing momentum and visibility, “Miracles That Soothe Your Soul” is being endorsed to the Writer’s Guild of America (WGA), a meaningful step that supports broader industry awareness and professional positioning.

A Life Shaped by Faith, Teaching, and Global Ministry

Dr. Myrna L. Etheridge teaches and ministers for many organizations and churches, traveling thousands of miles to conduct seminars, preach, and minister through music. Her story begins early meeting Jesus at age nine and experiencing her first intercession while singing in tongues in a cow pasture. Raised on a small farm near St. Louis, Missouri, she was called into ministry at age twelve and served faithfully as a Bible teacher, helper, and musician.

Her life also carries deep personal loss: both of her sons died from the hereditary disease cystic fibrosis, and Bible study became the place where her questions found answers—and her faith found new depth. A master teacher for eighteen years, she taught in public schools and college programs in the U.S. and Puerto Rico, and taught Bible at the collegiate level. She has appeared as a program guest on TBN and TCT Christian Television.

Since 1984, Dr. Etheridge has authored eighteen books, and her ministry has reached thirty-five nations, including Haiti, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Panama, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, England, Ukraine, and other European countries. She holds BSE and MSE degrees in biology from Arkansas State University, earned her PhD from Channel Cities Christian College (Ventura, CA), and has received DD degrees. She is also listed in Who’s Who in Leaders of Science (1967–68) and thirteen other Who’s Who volumes.

Reader Takeaway

If you’ve been discouraged, anxious, or worn down—this book doesn’t demand perfection. It offers renewal, one story at a time, and gently builds your expectation that today can still hold something good.
