TBS Greenlights Prank Comedy Series “Foul Play with Anthony Davis” to Premiere Monday, April 6
TBS has greenlit 16 half-hour episodes of the hidden camera comedy series “Foul Play with Anthony Davis,” following the show’s debut as a half-hour special last winter. Hosted by NBA All-Star Anthony Davis, the unscripted series pairs elite athletes with elaborate pranks, giving them one chance to pull off their mischievous plans or foul out trying. The first batch of episodes will premiere on Monday, April 6 immediately following the NCAA National Championship game, and at 9:00PM ET/PT every Monday following. Special guest stars will be announced at a later date.
“Anthony Davis brings the same precision and swagger to comedy that he does to the court,” said Jason Sarlanis, President, TNT, TBS, truTV, ID & HLN, Linear and Streaming at Warner Bros. Discovery. “At TBS, we love a show that knows how to have fun and Foul Play is exactly that. We’re excited for our viewers to have as much fun watching it as Anthony and the other athletes had filming it.”
“Foul Play with Anthony Davis” first aired as a half-hour special on TBS in February 2025 and included guest appearances from top sports stars including World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodger Mookie Betts, WNBA Los Angeles Sparks’ star Cameron Brink and Dallas Mavericks point guard D’Angelo Russell. The special pulled in over 3 million viewers and ranked as the highest debut for its timeslot in more than 5 years. The upcoming season will introduce a top tier new lineup of professional athletes and celebrity guests, each ready to raise the stakes and the laughs.
“Foul Play with Anthony Davis” is produced for TBS by Grandma’s House Entertainment, Bad Woods Entertainment, and 4.4.Forty Media.
