$8 Million GTD Mystery Bounty Venom Has Giant Turnout For Day 1A

Americas Cardroom has kicked off the January 2026 $8 million guaranteed Mystery Bounty Venom No-Limit Hold’em tournament with its biggest opening flight in years.

Day 1A drew 912 entries, immediately surpassing recent Mystery Bounty Venom NLH opening benchmarks and positioning the premier online poker tournament to exceed its guarantee once again.

“This is exactly the momentum you want to see at the start of a Venom,” said Chris Moneymaker, Americas Cardroom Pro and former WSOP champion. “Players love the Mystery Bounty format, and this turnout shows just how strong the event has become.”

The opening flight outpaced Day 1A fields from the August 2024, January 2025, and August 2025 Mystery Bounty Venom NLH editions, all of which finished well above their $8 Million guarantee.

BuenaHistoriA leads the surviving field with 9,104,446 chips, followed by Yang Gang Bang and BALDOUS. Both the NLH Venom and the concurrent $2 million guaranteed PLO Venom will award mystery bounties starting at $5,000 once Day 2 begins.

Players still have four remaining Day 1 flights to enter, along with multiple satellite and free-entry options via Venom Fever and the new Venom Vault promotion.
