Alantra Asset Management Strengthens Presence in the DACH Region with Senior Business Development Hires

Alantra Asset Management, the alternative asset management business of Alantra, has expanded its local Business Development capabilities in the DACH region with the appointment of Anja Cavigilli and Andreas Apitz as Managing Directors and Co-Heads of Business Development for German-speaking Europe.

Based in Zurich, Anja Cavigilli and Andreas Apitz will be responsible for developing and deepening relationships with institutional and qualified private investors across the DACH region. They will represent Alantra’s full range of direct investment strategies, including private equity, private debt (direct lending, real estate debt, special opportunities), active funds, energy-focused strategies, as well as selected strategic partnerships.

Anja Cavigilli brings more than 20 years of experience in alternative investments across buy- and sell-side roles, with deep expertise in fundraising, due diligence, and fund representation. She has a broad institutional investor network across Europe, particularly in the DACH region, and will support fundraising and strategic growth initiatives across Alantra’s asset management platform.

Andreas Apitz brings over 25 years of experience in asset management and capital markets and has built a strong investor network across German-speaking Europe, with a particular focus on family offices. His background spans public and private markets, supporting both emerging and established asset managers in their investor development and fundraising activities.
