Ibrahim Rabbaj signs first professional contract
Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce that Academy attacker Ibrahim Rabbaj has put pen to paper on his first professional contract, committing his future to the Blues until at least 2028.
Rabbaj joined Chelsea from Crystal Palace at Under-12s level and has developed into a creative attacking midfielder, becoming an influential figure throughout his schoolboy years at the club.
This season, he has been a consistent performer for our Under-18s, making 13 appearances across all competitions, including seven in the Under-18 Premier League. He scored a hat-trick in our 5-1 victory over Leicester City last time out, as the young Blues remain unbeaten in the league so far.
Rabbaj has also featured in our FA Youth Cup run, starting in the fourth-round victory over Brentford, as well as making his UEFA Youth League debut against Qarabag, before scoring his first Under-19s goal in a 1-1 draw with Barcelona.
At international level, Rabbaj represents Morocco and was part of the squad that lifted the Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations in April 2025.
Congratulations Ibby!
