Jean-Francois joined Chelsea in July 2024, following a two-year stint at Paris Saint-Germain. The 24-year-old made her Blues debut when she replaced Johanna Rytting Kaneryd late on in a 3-2 win against Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge on 8 October 2024.

Her first start for Chelsea soon followed, as she was named in Sonia Bompastor’s XI away at FC Twente later than month, a match that ended in a 3-1 victory.

It was in the return fixture against the Dutch side when Jean-Francois scored her first goal for the club in a 6-0 win at Stamford Bridge on 11 December 2024.

The midfielder made an important contribution to our domestic Treble-winning campaign last season, making 22 appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist along the way.

On the international stage, Jean-Francois has made 21 appearances for France, including playing 300 minutes at this summer’s Women’s European Championship.

The French-Guiana-born player now makes the move to Aston Villa, where she will continue to play in the Women’s Super League.

Everyone at Chelsea would like to wish Oriane the very best for the future as she begins a new chapter in her career.
