Maserati’s presence at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show, taking place from January 9 to 18, is drawing exceptional crowds and sustained engagement from the public, press, and enthusiasts. The event officially launches the Year of the Trident, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Brand’s iconic symbol—inspired by the Neptune Fountain in Bologna—that encapsulates its elegance, sportiness, and audacious spirit. 2026 also marks the 100th anniversary of Maserati’s debut in the world of motor racing at the Targa Florio, where the Maserati Tipo 26—the first car to bear the Trident on its hood—won its class.

During the first days of the event, the Maserati stand in Hall 11 created by our D’Ieteren dealer has been one of the main attractions, with a constant flow of visitors drawn to the House of the Trident’s harmonious blend of heritage and innovation. Four models are on display in the exhibition area—MCPURA Cielo, GranCabrio Folgore, Grecale Folgore, and Grecale Lumina Blu Special Edition—highlighting the evolution of Maserati’s identity, which seamlessly combines driving thrills, contemporary luxury, and a sustainable vision. Furthermore, on the evening of Saturday, January 10, an exclusive event and dinner were held for Customers and VIP guests to celebrate the Year of the Trident in a prestigious setting. Alongside the evocative atmosphere, the evening’s highlights were cars of exceptional cultural and symbolic significance: the one-off Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio Meccanica Lirica and the GT2 Stradale supercar.

Notably, the Meccanica Lirica project represents a pivotal chapter in the Brand’s history. Created to celebrate the return of production of the iconic GranTurismo and GranCabrio to the historic Modena plant, the concept blends precision engineering with the theatrical and musical heritage of the Emilian city. The two one-off creations, the GranTurismo Meccanica Lirica and the GranCabrio Meccanica Lirica, embody this vision through a powerful sensory and aesthetic quality. The GranTurismo, finished in deep Rosso Velluto inspired by the curtains of opera houses, evokes the intimacy of a concert hall, while the GranCabrio, in Oro Lirico, captures the light and warmth of the stage for an open-air interpretation of the opera experience. Both cars were created at the Officine Fuoriserie Maserati, the brand’s bespoke artisanal workshop, where materials, finishes, and details express a fusion of engineering, elegance, and exclusivity. Moreover, the Saturday event also showcased the GT2 Stradale—the road-homologated supercar whose track-derived technical solutions, power, and dynamic performance testify to Maserati’s motorsport heritage and performance-focused vision.

Through January 18 at the Brussels Motor Show, visitors can admire four Maserati models at the stand, including the captivating MCPURA Cielo—the Trident’s new sporty supercar featuring a refreshed exterior design, exceptionally high-quality materials, and increasingly refined, exclusive interiors. Under the hood lies the iconic Nettuno V6, a symbol of Maserati’s enduring passion for racing. The model on display, in an “open-air” configuration, stands out for its Aqua Rainbow launch livery from the Fuoriserie collection. At its side, the GranCabrio Folgore in Bianco Astro combines the elegance of a convertible with the power of a 100% electric powertrain and the pleasure of open-air driving for four. With a top speed of 290 km/h, it is the fastest electric convertible on the market.

The display also includes the Grecale Folgore, the 100% electric premium SUV, offering a WLTP range of up to 580 km and finished in an exclusive Verde Royale color with Ghiaccio interiors from Maserati’s Fuoriserie collection. The car comes standard with the AWD-Disconnect all-wheel-drive system to ensure extended range. Lastly, the spotlight was on the European debut of the Grecale Lumina Blu Special Edition, an exclusive version that pairs a refined look with a fully equipped technological package, offering everything needed to make each journey even more iconic and comfortable. One of its true highlights lies in the exclusive Night Interaction exterior, which creates a wonderful contrast with the 21” Pegaso wheels, yellow brake calipers, and the yellow trident on the C pillar. The interiors are finished in fine Chocolate leather and complemented by open-pore briarwood inserts.

The combination of these elements—from the rich and engaging display to the iconic cars and the exclusive VIP evening experience—is making Maserati’s presence at the Brussels Motor Show a resounding success, presenting the Year of the Trident as a period of celebration, innovation, and consolidation for the Brand on the global automotive stage.

Santo Ficili, Maserati COO, stated: “The enthusiasm we are seeing at the Brussels Motor Show confirms the strength of the brand at a highly symbolic moment. The Year of the Trident has opened with an extremely positive response from the public, reflecting a vision that unites heritage, innovation, and artisanal excellence. Maserati looks to the future with confidence and ambition, reaffirming its leadership in the high-performance luxury segment.”
