Aon Appoints Tom Bowman as Head of Retail and Consumer Products

Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, today announced Tom Bowman will join the firm as its head of retail and consumer products, effective January 12, 2026.

In this role, Bowman will drive Aon’s global retail strategy, bringing together data, analytics and advisory capabilities to deliver enhanced client experience. He will focus on strengthening relationships with Aon’s largest clients across retail, consumer durables, leisure products and e-commerce, while continuing to expand Aon’s influence and leadership in the global retail sector. Based in London, he will report to Petra Schmidt, global industry leader.

Bowman joins Aon with extensive experience in the retail industry, he most recently served as head of retail business consulting for Tata Consultancy Services where he led the growth for their retail advisory business across the EMEA region. Prior to that, he spent a decade at Tesco and began his career at Deloitte Consulting.
