Amsterdam, Netherlands – WEBWIRE

TomTom (TOM2), the location technology specialist, today announced that Joep van Beurden has been nominated for appointment to TomTom’s Supervisory Board for a four-year term. His appointment will be proposed at the Annual General Meeting on 16 April 2026.

Joep van Beurden (1960, Dutch) has been CEO of Kendrion N.V. since 1 December 2015, following eight years as CEO of CSR plc., headquartered in Cambridge, United Kingdom. From 2004 to 2007, he served as CEO of NexWave Inc., and, in addition to his executive roles, served on the Supervisory Board of Adyen N.V. from 2017 to 2026. Earlier in his career, he worked at Royal Dutch Shell, McKinsey & Company, Philips Electronics, and Canesta Inc. Joep holds a Master’s degree in Applied Physics from the University of Twente.

“We are delighted to nominate Joep to join the Supervisory Board. Joep brings decades of experience leading international technology companies.” said Derk Haank, Chair of TomTom’s Supervisory Board.

“Joep’s leadership track record and deep technology background make him a strong addition to our Supervisory Board. His insights will support TomTom as we continue to innovate and execute our strategy.” said Harold Goddijn, CEO of TomTom.

Joep’s appointment, when adopted by the General Meeting, will be effective on 16 April 2026 and will expire at the AGM of 2030.

Upon his appointment, Joep will become a member of the Remuneration Committee and the Selection & Appointment Committee. The Supervisory Board currently consists of Derk Haank (Chair), Maaike Schipperheijn (Deputy Chair), Marili ’t Hooft‑Bolle, Gemma Postlethwaite, and Pete Thompson.

Joep’s proposed nomination aligns with applicable statutory regulations limiting the number of supervisory board positions under Dutch law, as well as with the independence criteria outlined in the Dutch Corporate Governance Code and the Supervisory Board profile.
