JBL Debuts Its First OpenSound Earclips that Transform Everyday Audio Into a Must-Have Accessory

The newest offering in JBL’s open-ear headphone line, JBL Soundgear CLIPS use JBL OpenSound and feature a lightweight design that clips comfortably to your ear. With four new translucent colors to choose from, JBL Soundgear CLIPS can be comfortably worn all day, every day, whether spending the day with friends or running errands. 

JBL OpenSound uses air conduction technology to deliver high quality sound without closing off the ear canal. By not blocking out a listener’s environment they can stay aware of their surroundings. The new SonicArc shape perfectly positions the speaker for the best bass performance and stops sound leakage, allowing for calls and listening sessions to remain private. 

JBL Soundgear CLIPS also feature an Adaptive Bass Boost algorithm for optimized audio and 4 mics for crisp calls allowing the headphones to clearly identify a user’s voice, no matter the background noise.

JBL Soundgear CLIPS will be available on JBL.com for $149.95 in March 2026. Color options include copper, blue, purple, and white.
