Get a delicious start to the New Year with Pikmin Bloom

The Pikmin™ Bloom app for iOS and Android devices is kicking off a special event this month featuring Osechi Decor Pikmin! Osechi is a traditional Japanese dish prepared with symbolic ingredients, each one wishing for health and good fortune in the year ahead. It is typically prepared ahead of time and eaten during the first three days of the year, starting on New Year’s Day.

Of course, Osechi Decor will be available for all types of Pikmin, including Ice. Additionally, 2025 Party Popper and 2024 Glasses Decor Pikmin are making a comeback! (Note: 2025 Party Cracker and 2024 Glasses Decor won’t be available for Ice Pikmin.)

Start the year with a fresh step and enjoy your walks with the newly arriving Osechi Decor Pikmin!

From Jan. 1 at 12:00 a.m. local time to Jan. 31 at 11:59 p.m. local time

For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain in-app rewards at random. These can be Koma Spinning Tops, seedlings that grow into Osechi Decor Pikmin*, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.

At the start of the event, you will receive missions to collect Koma Spinning Tops**. By clearing them, you will be able to obtain seedlings for 2024 Glasses Decor Pikmin*** and event-inspired costumes for your Mii™ character!

During the event, you may encounter Magnificent Mushrooms****. When you destroy them, you’ll receive in-app Mystery Boxes that contain items such as Koma Spinning Tops and seedlings for 2025 Party Popper Decor Pikmin*****, among others! Osechi, 2025 Party Popper, and 2024 Glasses Decor Pikmin are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them!

Pikmin Bloom offers a fun way to earn rewards for going outside and exploring with friends! Explore your neighborhood to add more Pikmin to your squad. The more you walk, the more seedlings and fruit you’ll find. Watch the map fill up with colorful blossoms, planted by you and by other players nearby. Head outside, explore your neighborhood, and make the world bloom!
