Moeve welcomes 2026 having transformed 500 service stations across its network in Spain and Portugal
- The energy company has changed its logo from Cepsa to Moeve and refurbished about a third of its network, offering a more digitized and customer-focused experience
- After its first year, the new Moeve brand is consolidating: refurbished service stations achieve higher sales volumes, there is growing interest among talented individuals in working for the company, and social recognition has exceeded the awareness target by 20 points
- The company is advancing its Positive Motion roadmap, placing customers at the center of its transformation and aspiring to become a key player in Europe’s energy transition by 2030
Moeve will kick off 2026 with 500 service stations across Spain, Portugal and Andorra that have been transformed from the Cepsa to Moeve logo and refurbished into new spaces that incorporate more digital services, new sustainable energy options, and a focus on providing customers a quality-based experience.
Moeve continues to deploy one of the largest ultra-fast electric charging networks at service stations throughout Spain and Portugal, supplying 100% renewable energy. The network already has over 260 publicly accessible, ultra-fast charging points (150 kW) in operation, with chargers capable of recharging 80% of a car battery in an estimated time frame of 10-20 minutes, depending on the model.
Many of these establishments operate with electricity obtained through on-site solar panels, and the value proposition to customers includes the option of using digital tickets, in addition to Moeve Wash, a car wash which uses biodegradable products.
The service station offerings feature a variety of quality products including the sale of fresh products at Moeve Market and premium coffee and pastries at its R’SPIRO corners. The network’s service stations also include new parcel and delivery services, addressing some of its customers’ day-to-day needs.
The offer is complemented by the Moeve gow loyalty program, which has around 3.5 million customers who enjoy discounts and promotions at participating service stations and shops, as well as the option of purchasing the Multienergy Plan, together with Naturgy, which combines electricity and gas contracts with discounts of up to 30 cts./l on refueling and up to 15 cts./kWh on electric charging.
“We are making steady progress in transforming our network. Moeve is committed to quality and to the customer, as seen in these renovated establishments, designed to be places that meet people’s day-to-day needs and where they want to spend time, with personalized experiences. We will continue along this path to convince more and more people about our energy and mobility offering.”

The Moeve brand consolidates after one year
The Moeve brand has consolidated in other key areas beyond reaching 500 service stations. First, sales at service stations with the new brand already exceed those of previous Cepsa stations. Moreover, Moeve’s external employment portal has received about 35% more visits since the transformation, a success in terms of attracting talent. Regarding social recognition and awareness data, the Moeve brand is already recognized by a majority of society in Spain. According to Ipsos, an independent market research company, users prioritize Moeve over Cepsa in the spontaneous recognition of energy and mobility brands, and the brand is 20 points above the awareness target that the company was pursuing after the first year.
“The company is benefiting greatly from the transformation of its name and culture, with the brand consolidating even faster than expected. Today, Moeve represents the sector’s aspiration to transform energy and mobility and has already reached a brand recognition greater than that of its predecessor in attributes such as sustainability, innovation, and proximity.”
José María Solana, Moeve’s Global Brand director
With these steps, Moeve continues to make progress on its 2030 Positive Motion transformation strategy, launched three years ago. The energy company has already sold 70% of its exploration and production assets, is developing the Andalusian Valley of Green Hydrogen, and has reached the halfway point of construction of its new 2G biofuels plant in La Rábida, Huelva, with the goal of becoming a key figure in the energy transition in Europe.
