Lancia and Eberhard & Co. present, through a selection of exclusive retailers, the limited edition watch born from the collaboration between the historic automotive brand and the Maison. A timepiece that celebrates the rebirth of the legendary HF logo and features on its dial the new version of the High Fidelity acronym accompanied by the red elephant - a symbol that marks Lancia’s return to the world of rallying.

The roots of this collaboration lie in the history of both brands, which began to establish themselves around the early 1900s. Founded in 1906, Lancia took a decisive step toward modernity with the Lambda prototype (1921), an extraordinary demonstration of Vincenzo Lancia’s engineering vision, while Eberhard & Co., founded in 1887, soon entered as a leading player in watchmaking history with pioneering patents and quickly establishing itself in the chronograph segment - the Maison presented its first wristwatch chronograph in 1919.

The growth of both companies continued in the 1930s, when Lancia introduced the Augusta and Aprilia, models that redefined aerodynamics and automotive architecture. During the same years, Eberhard & Co. strengthened its connection with motorsport and introduced innovative chronographs, such as the split-seconds model enabling double timing. While the war didn’t stop the drive for innovation and success - the revolutionary Ardea concept was born in 1939 from an idea by Vincenzo Lancia, and Eberhard & Co.’s Extra-fort collection was launched in 1940 - it was the post-war boom that marked a glorious phase of true milestones for both brands, when the iconic Aurelia and Flaminia were created for Lancia and the Scafograf, Contograf, and Scientigraf collections for Eberhard & Co.

Between the 1970s and 1990s, the shared sporting DNA cultivated since the beginning was strengthened: Lancia, with the Fulvia HF and then with the Delta, HF 4WD and Delta Integrale, became the absolute symbol of international rallying with 10 World Rally Championships for Manufacturers, three World Endurance Championships for Manufacturers, one 1000 Miglia, two Targa Florio victories, and one Carrera Panamericana. Eberhard & Co., having overcome the "quartz crisis" with resilience, continued the excellence of traditional watchmaking with special collections (such as Chrono Marine, Chronomaster "Frecce Tricolori" or Navymaster) and in 1992 honored its connection with the world of motorsport by launching the successful Tazio Nuvolari collection, which would give rise to dedicated collections and special editions.

In the new millennium, both entities evolved, demonstrating how innovation can arise from the ability to reimagine one’s history in a contemporary key. Eberhard & Co., with the revolutionary Chrono 4, inaugurated a phase in which new collections alternated different styles and technical solutions, managing to propose the new while keeping past inspirations alive, which are enhanced in an original way; an approach that finds full expression in the most recent collections, such as Chronographe 1887 and Contodat. Similarly, Lancia builds a solid bridge between its legendary history and the challenges of contemporary motorsport, which takes concrete form with the return of the legendary HF designation and the new Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale, ready to compete in the WRC2 category of the FIA World Rally Championship 2026.

In particular, the Lancia HF timepiece embodies this shared vision of heritage: not simple nostalgia, but a contemporary enhancement of the two brands’ patrimony, expressed through stylistic codes and principles that have defined their history. The dial features the new HF logo with slanted letters and the red elephant with raised trunk - a symbol introduced by Gianni Lancia in 1953, a sign of determination and courage. Equipped with a self-winding mechanical movement and a 41 mm stainless-steel case, it is available with a blue, white, or black sunburst-finished dial and luminescent indexes, with red details on the seconds hand and on the "60" of the minute track. The caseback displays the logo, reference, and individual serial number. Offered with a vintage leather strap with red stitching or a Chablis stainless-steel bracelet with 2CLICK® clasp, the Lancia HF is produced in a limited edition of 120 pieces for each of the three dial variants.

Eberhard & Co.
Founded in 1887 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Eberhard & Co. has been a benchmark of technical excellence and innovative spirit for over 135 years, standing out for its independence and deep respect for tradition and heritage.
The history of the Swiss Maison is marked by iconic creations — from the first wrist chronograph in 1919, to the revolutionary Chrono 4, the first and only chronograph in history with four aligned counters, and the collection dedicated to legendary racing driver Tazio Nuvolari.
Among its most representative collections — the result of continuous technical and stylistic research — are 8 Jours, Gilda, and modern reinterpretations of historic models such as Extra-fort, Scafograf, and Scientigraf, alongside more recent lines like 1887 and Contodat.
In June 2019, the Maison inaugurated the Eberhard & Co. Museum at the historic Maison de L’Aigle in La Chaux-de-Fonds — a building commissioned by founder Georges-Lucien Eberhard in the early 20th century.
