Want to transfer your stuff to Nintendo Switch 2? Here’s how!

If you picked up a Nintendo Switch™ 2 system this year (or are planning on picking one up soon), you may be wondering how you can transfer your Nintendo Switch data to the new system. The good news is, it’s super easy to do—and you won’t even have to break a sweat!

There are two methods to do a system transfer:

Wirelessly connecting a Nintendo Switch system to a Nintendo Switch 2 system. (Both systems must be in close proximity to each other when the transfer happens.)

Or

Uploading your Nintendo Switch data to a server and then downloading it to Nintendo Switch 2.
