At the same time, Fu Lin once again collaborates with renowned F&B critic and writer Mr. Dong Keping to launch “Fu Lin’s Dong Keping Chef Table” at Crowne Plaza Jinan Runhua, showcasing the brand’s culinary vision through a professional lens and highlighting the depth of local ingredients and regional flavors. A New Interpretation of Fu Lin “Four Happiness”

Since its launch in 2023, Fu Lin has followed its principles of “Seasonal Eating” and “Moderate Diet,” creating a unique Chinese dining experience rooted in local ingredients, regional culture, and etiquette. The refreshed Fu Lin “Four Happiness” focuses on two directions: enhancing localization in menu design and elevating banquet experiences through scenario-based storytelling.

On the culinary front, Fu Lin moves beyond traditional standardized hotel Chinese dining to establish a localized system with stronger regional identity. The refreshed “Four Happiness” incorporates seasonal and locally sourced ingredients—such as Zhangqiu scallions, Laiwu black pork, and Taishan red-scaled fish from Jinan; Jingchu rice wine, Honghu lotus root, and Qingjiang catfish from Wuhan; and Laoshan spring water, Jimo rice wine, and local seafood from Qingdao—creating a dining experience deeply connected to each destination.

On the experiential level, Fu Lin transitions from standalone dishes to culturally themed, scenario-based banquets, each crafted to create shared memories. Chef teams from Crowne Plaza Jinan Runhua, Crowne Plaza Wuhan Tianhe Airport, Crowne Plaza Qingdao Jinshui, and Crowne Plaza Zhongshan Torch High-tech Zone joined the Four Happiness Refresh Workshop to exchange insights and showcase the updated dishes.

The dinner integrates Shandong’s regional culinary heritage into both its flavors and its presentation. The banquet menu features a curated selection of cold dishes followed by hot dishes that reinterpret Shandong traditions in a contemporary manner. Key highlights included king crab with Jiaozhou cabbage prepared tableside, the signature Fu Lin Four Happiness dishes – Fu Lin Braised Abalone, sweet-and-sour red-scaled fish with Yangxin pear vinegar, crispy roasted pigeon, and charcoal-grilled Laiwu black pork. The dinner concluded with traditional pastries, steamed specialties symbolizing prosperity, and a classic sweet gingko dessert.
