Dr. Teresa is a PhD anthropologist, an immigrant, a mentor, and a lifelong guide for people starting over in a new country. Her work has always lived at the intersection of culture, career, and human resilience. For more than two decades, she has studied, taught, and supported internationally trained professionals as they rebuild their lives, navigate unfamiliar workplaces, and rediscover their confidence and sense of belonging.

Her academic training in Social Anthropology has shaped how she views the world: through stories, patterns, hidden rules, and the quiet yet powerful ways people adapt to new environments. Her research focused on immigrant women balancing work and family while rebuilding a life abroad—work that continues to guide everything she does today. Alongside this, her experience in business and mentorship programs has allowed her to translate research into practical tools that help newcomers move forward with clarity and hope.

But the heart of her journey is also deeply personal. She raised three adult bicultural children—Sal, Maria, and Lucia—who grew into strong, compassionate, and successful adults rooted in two cultures.
