Tencent Donates HK$10 Million to Support Hong Kong’s Tai Po Fire Relief Efforts

Tencent Foundation has announced an initial donation of HK$10 million (US$1.3 million) to aid emergency relief efforts following the level-five fire that broke out at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong. The donation will support affected residents through temporary resettlement, provision of daily necessities, and psychological assistance.

Tencent conveyed its highest respect to the firefighters, ambulance personnel, and all organizations that have responded swiftly to the disaster. The company expressed sincere gratitude to frontline responders for their professionalism and courage in protecting lives.

Tencent said it will continue to monitor the relief and recovery process, maintain close cooperation with various community partners, and respond to emerging needs as the situation develops.
