Tietoevry changing gear for the next chapter as Tieto

Following the divestment of its Tech Services business in September 2025, Tietoevry today consists of vertical software & services businesses Care, Banking and Industry as well the digital consulting arm Create. Tietoevry is now building on the embedded strong foundation, including the talent of 15 000 experts around the world.

As part of driving its strategic priorities focused on customer first -mindset, simplified core and selective international expansion, Tietoevry is renewing its brand. The new brand brings to life the energizing and impact-driven approach on technology and considers the company’s heritage as well as geographically expanding footprint by opting for simpler and meaningful Tieto as the company name. Tieto means “data, information, and knowledge” in Finnish.

Our new brand will help us demonstrate our commitment to customer success and energize key initiatives, including improving sales and AI expertise. The four businesses are also renamed as follows:

• Tietoevry Banking to Tieto Banktech
• Tietoevry Care to Tieto Caretech
• Tietoevry Industry to Tieto Indtech
• Tietoevry Create to Tieto Tech Consulting

The new brand elements, including the new names, will come to life gradually during the next few months, starting from the company’s Capital Markets Day on 25 November 2025. The name change of the parent company, Tietoevry Corporation, will be subject to a decision by the Annual General Meeting.
