This weekend, during the FORMULA 1 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2025, the LEGO Group and Formula 1 surprised fans, families & F1 drivers alike with a range of playful LEGO® moments throughout the Grand Prix weekend - including a first-of-its-kind driveable, pink, open-top LEGO brick-built interpretation of a 1950s Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special car.

After a thrilling 50 laps under the neon lights on the streets of Las Vegas, the three top drivers, Max Verstappen, Lando Norris and George Russell, sat in the backseat of the LEGO 1950s Cadillac Car, on the way to the FORMULA 1® LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2025 podium at Bellagio. The unique brick-built car was driven by actor Terry Crews, a big LEGO building and F1 fan, making a surprise appearance behind the wheel.

LEGO 1950’s Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special Cool Down Car

The stunning car, based on a classic pink 1950s Cadillac Sixty Special, was built using over 418,000 LEGO elements. It took center stage at the FORMULA 1 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2025, showcased in the F1 Paddock throughout the weekend for fans to have a closer look, ahead of it hitting the track after a thrilling race.

Weighing in at over 2 tonnes and measuring over 5m long, this feat of LEGO Design and engineering, with functioning lights and sound, brought LEGO building & Las Vegas glamour together for fans and drivers alike. During the Grand Prix™ weekend, fans in the F1 Paddock were able to get up close with the build as it was displayed at a special custom-built Las Vegas Grand Prix wedding venue.

LEGO Brick Moments Around The 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix

Elsewhere during the Grand Prix™ weekend, fans on the ground and at home were able to spot exciting LEGO moments happening around Las Vegas.

To celebrate F1 ACADEMY hitting the track for the first time in fabulous Las Vegas, the LEGO Group presented the drivers who secured a space on the podium of both Race 1 and Race 2 with custom LEGO Botanicals Bouquets, each built out of close to 2,000 LEGO elements. Fans on the ground were also able to get their hands LEGO F1 ACADEMY merch, exclusive to the FORMULA 1 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2025 and available at the F1 HUB located at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

Towering above the city skyline was also incredible LEGO content on Sphere, featuring all 10 Formula 1 teams in LEGO brick form and highlighting the recently announced partnership between the LEGO Group and F1 ACADEMY.

Throughout the action-packed weekend, the LEGO Group and Formula 1 brought play to the track, bringing young fans and families closer to Grand Prix experiences and the sport.

LEGO Racing in F1 ACADEMY

Ahead of the FORMULA 1 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2025 weekend, the LEGO Group revealed its new partnership with F1 ACADEMY, aimed at creating more opportunities and visibility for women in motorsport, through creative play and representation.

The partnership will bring the LEGO® Racing entry to the grid starting with the 2026 season, with a unique custom car livery and Esmee Kosterman in the driver’s seat. The entry will be accompanied by the LEGO Speed Champions F1 ACADEMY™ LEGO Race Car, a 201-piece set, allowing fans of the series to build one of its cars for the first time.

The LEGO Group activated on Exosphere - the LED exterior of Sphere.

This weekend marks the latest moment in a multi-year partnership between the LEGO Group and Formula 1®, after taking the streets with ten fully drivable LEGO F1 cars during the Miami Grand Prix Drivers Parade and the LEGO Brick-Built Trophies at the British Grand Prix, among other moments aimed at introducing the sport to more families around the world through playful and immersive fan experiences.
