  • The financial institution channels the letters from beneficiary children: participants can deliver the gifts to the branches until December 12, and CaixaBank, together with collaborating social organizations, will handle their distribution so that the children receive them during the holidays.
  • Thanks to the nearly 3,000 CaixaBank branches participating in this program, ‘Árbol de los sueños’ reaches all of Spain through more than 400 social organizations across all autonomous communities, including their delegations, and more than 430 collaborating companies.

CaixaBank’s ‘Árbol de los sueños’ program will deliver the gifts requested in their letters to more than 34,000 children at risk of vulnerability, thanks to a solidarity initiative that focuses on the values behind ensuring that every child receives the gift they asked for this Christmas, highlighting the attention, time, and care involved in making a wish come true.

The program is carried out through CaixaBank branches, which since November 19 have letters written by children up to 12 years old who may be at risk of food poverty or in another situation of possible vulnerability.

Customers of the institution who wish to participate in ‘Árbol de los sueños’ must go to a CaixaBank branch, where they will be assigned one of the letters written by a child detailing the specific gift they wish for this Christmas. Once the letter is collected, participants have until December 12 to bring the gift to their branch, with a maximum value of €50.

From that date, CaixaBank and the social organizations collaborating in this program will organize the collection and distribution of the gifts to make the children’s dreams come true, bearing in mind that for many families this is the only gift they receive thanks to the chain of solidarity generated among the institution’s customers.

More social organizations and companies involved

‘Árbol de los sueños’ is an initiative organized by CaixaBank with the collaboration of more than 400 social organizations, including their delegations, committed to fighting child poverty and vulnerability across all autonomous communities, as well as the support of 433 companies. Thanks to the nearly 3,000 branches participating in this program, CaixaBank manages to bring ‘Árbol de los sueños’ to every corner of Spain.

The 2025 edition marks the eighth year of ‘Árbol de los sueños’, and the forecast to fulfill the requests of a total of 34,525 letters sets a new record for beneficiaries of the initiative. With this campaign, since the first edition of ‘Árbol de los sueños’ in 2018, CaixaBank will have helped make the wishes of more than 220,000 children at risk of poverty and social exclusion come true.
