The Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Palma Hosts the Meeting of the Regional Council of the Spanish Association of Foundations in the Balearic Islands

The Rafa Nadal Foundation, in collaboration with Clínica Baviera and Fundación Baviera Responsable, is launching a new edition of its annual eye check-ups for the children and adolescents who attend the Rafa Nadal Foundation Centers in Madrid, Valencia, and Palma.

This partnership, which focuses on safeguarding children’s visual health, aims to prevent and detect potential vision problems, essential for their proper development, learning, and overall well-being.

Last year, three check-up sessions were carried out in each center, providing care to a total of 402 children and adolescents. This year, the professional team from Clínica Baviera will once again visit the three centers, underlining the importance of annual vision check-ups during childhood and adolescence.

The scheduled dates are:

• November 17–18: Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Valencia
• December 16–17: Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Madrid
• March 9–10–11: Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Palma

During the sessions, all the children will receive a pair of sunglasses to protect their eyesight. Those who show visual problems requiring a more in-depth ophthalmological examination will be attended to at Clínica Baviera centers. In addition, children who need prescription glasses will be able to obtain them completely free of charge at the optical stores associated with the Ruta de la Luz Foundation, in collaboration with the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation.

This initiative highlights the joint commitment of all three organizations to health, education, and the overall well-being of children. Good visual health is crucial for them to learn, study, and develop fully, contributing to their happiness and quality of life.
