Rob & Romesh Vs returns on 9 December as the duo take on a host of new challenges from Bollywood to Shakespeare to the Sumatran jungle
Martin Freeman, Jessie Buckley, Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon, Eddie the Eagle and many more pros will coach the pair along the way
BAFTA-award winning Sky Original series Rob & Romesh Vs will return on 9 December to Sky and streaming service NOW. Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan serve up another hilarious instalment, as they take on unexpected new challenges across the globe, set to test them to the limit.
Rob & Romesh are heading to Mumbai, with the aim to break one of the worlds’ biggest film industries – Bollywood. Famed for its elaborate dance sequences, the boys will be getting help from some of its biggest stars, Ali Fazal & Anupam Kher, as they try to earn roles in a blockbuster Bollywood movie.
From Mumbai to New York, the boys are finally taking on Romesh’s first love – Hip Hop. They’ll be heading to New York, the birthplace of the genre, to meet one of Romesh’s heroes, the Wu Tang Clan’s Raekwon, to see if they can conquer Rom’s biggest Hip-Hop fear… performing in a New York freestyle cypher.
Rob & Romesh will venture into the depths of the Sumatran jungle, in search of the most incredible wildlife, to find out if they can snap an exhibition worthy photo to enter one of the world’s most prestigious competitions - Wildlife Photographer of the Year at the Natural History Museum, London.
And back in London, the pair are going Elizabethan as they prepare to perform ‘Romeo & Juliet’ at the world-famous Globe theatre. With the help of the Globe’s Artistic Director, Michelle Terry, and some of our nation’s finest actors, Jessie Buckley and Martin Freeman, the lads will be putting their acting skills to the test to find out if they can pull off one of Shakespeare’s most famous plays.
The series will come to a timely conclusion with a two-part special as they take on our very own Team GB, ahead of the Winter Olympics, in early 2026. Rob and Romesh have spent the last year with Team GB in search of their very own Winter Sport, with the helping hand of former legends Eddie the Eagle and Eve Muirhead, as well as our 2026 hopefuls, Mia Brookes and Team Mouat. We see them take on everything from Bobsled to Biathlon, Skiing to Curling in a journey that takes them across the world, from St Moritz in Switzerland to the World Curling Championships in Fredericton, Canada.
Rob & Romesh Vs is produced by CPL, a Seven. One Studios company. The Executive Producers are Murray Boland, Danielle Lux, David Taylor and Bill Righton. The Commissioning Editor for Sky is Barbara Lee.
Rob & Romesh Vs S8 will air weekly on Sky and streaming service NOW from Tuesday 9 December.
The Winter Special two-part special will air in early 2026.
