ASICS Receives Gold in the PRIDE Index 2025 for the Seventh Consecutive Year

WEBWIRE

ASICS has once again received the Gold rating in the PRIDE Index, an evaluation framework for workplace initiatives supporting sexual minorities (LGBTQ+). This marks the seventh consecutive year the company has earned this recognition.

The PRIDE Index was established in 2016 by the organization work with Pride, with the goal of promoting workplaces in Japan where LGBTQ+ and other sexual minorities can thrive.

This year, ASICS was recognized for several initiatives aimed at creating a more inclusive workplace regardless of SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity). These included:

  • Developing guidance materials for managers to foster inclusivity.
  • Organizing Pride Runs/Walks in 15 regions across Japan and overseas during Pride Month (June–July 2025), offering distances of 1km, 3km, 5km, and 10km.
  • A total of 438 employees participated in these events.

ASICS remains committed to building an environment where diverse talent can fully realize their potential, and will continue to pursue innovation in products and services that deliver new value to customers.
