easyJet named Best Low-Cost Carrier in Europe at the Business Traveller Awards

easyJet, has again been named as the Best Low-Cost Carrier in Europe at this year’s prestigious Business Traveller Awards.

Now celebrating the win for the 20th consecutive year, easyJet has once again taken the crown. The awards are judged by readers of Business Traveller magazine and were announced at the annual Business Traveller Awards.

easyJet has been awarded Best Low-Cost Carrier in Europe by Business Traveller for the last two decades, and the latest accolade comes as the airline gets set to celebrate its 30th anniversary next month.

A fixture of the business travel and hospitality calendar for more than 40 years, this year’s awards were attended by over 250 industry leaders and recognises industry leadership, partnership and innovation from top brands from across Europe.

This year’s awards mark the first time Business Traveller has celebrated both regional and global winners. Over 95,000 votes were cast, with regional winners chosen by public votes and global winners combining public input with insights from a panel of 20 top industry judges.

Last month the airline won three Aviation Industry Awards, scooping the Women in Aviation Award for easyJet pilot, Debbie Thomas, for her dual role as a pilot and her sustainability work with the likes of Rolls-Royce, the Aviation Sustainability &

Environment Award for easyJet’s innovative light-weight paint roll out, and the Aviation Innovation Award.

Last year the airline won the Achievement in Sustainability award at the inaugural Business Travel Sustainability Awards.

In February the airline launched easyJet Plus for Business which enables businesses to buy, manage and receive discounts on multiple memberships on behalf of their employees and access a range of special travel benefits.
