Extending our Global Commitment Support to 2030
Continuing to drive the Plastics Agenda for Business
As an early signatory of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Global Commitment, we have now extended our commitment t through 2030. This step reinforces our role in shaping the Plastics Agenda for Business, which aims to make the economics work for a circular economy.
Why We ActThe UN Plastics Treaty, which seeks to establish a harmonized and legally binding framework, is currently stalled. In this context, we believe business leadership is essential to drive the shift from a linear to a circular economy. We continue to develop innovative circular solutions and collaborate across the value chain to overcome systemic barriers and share the risks of transformation.
Our Priorities for 2030We support the Foundation’s 2030 action areas, which align with our business objectives:
- Create conditions that allow reuse systems to scale.
- Drive material innovation for flexible packaging.
- Demonstrate and expand collection and recycling infrastructure, especially in the Global South.
- Make the economics work by advocating for fiscal and economic measures.
Since joining the Global Commitment in 2018, we have consistently reported our progress and supported the call for a legally binding global plastics treaty. We remain committed to advancing circularity through collaboration, innovation, and leadership.
