Ice Pikmin and more join the party for Pikmin Bloom’s 4th Anniversary!

The Pikmin™ Bloom smartphone app is turning four years old, and it’s shaping up to be a cool one! Ice Pikmin are sliding into the game starting November 1st. These frosty little friends are here to bring a refreshing sparkle to your strolls.

To start, Ice Pikmin seedlings will be available near Restaurant and Roadside locations only. When you raise your friendship levels with Ice Pikmin grown from seedlings found at these locations, they will become Chef Hat Decor Pikmin (Restaurant) or Sticker or Coin Decor Pikmin (Roadside) respectively. Rare Decor will also be made available for all Coin Decor Pikmin.

Continuing the celebrations, the 4th Anniversary Flower Box Event also starts this November. For the first time ever in Pikmin Bloom, the special monthly Decor Pikmin—4th Anniversary Flower Box*—will be made available for Ice Pikmin. Plus, 3rd Anniversary Cupcake and Puzzle: Autumn Memories 2021 Decor Pikmin** will be back to join in the fun too.

From Nov. 1 at 12:00 a.m. local time to Nov. 30 at 11:59 p.m. local time

For every Event Challenge mission that you clear, you’ll be able to obtain in-app rewards at random. These can be Colorful Flowers, seedlings that grow into 4th Anniversary Flower Box Decor Pikmin, flower petals, or other items. Additionally, when the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, you’re guaranteed to receive a Gold Seedling on top of the random rewards.

And that’s not all! As part of the 4th Anniversary celebrations, this month, you will also receive a guaranteed Gold Seedling for a 4th Anniversary Flower Box Decor Pikmin after clearing the first mission of the Event Challenge, which requires you to walk 1000 steps.

At the start of the event, you will receive missions to collect Colorful Flowers****. By clearing them, you will be able to obtain seedlings for Puzzle: 2021 Fall Memories and event-inspired costumes for your Mii character!

During the event, you may encounter Brilliant Mushrooms. When you destroy them, you’ll receive Mystery Boxes that contain items such as Colorful Flowers and seedlings for 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Decor Pikmin, among others! 4th Anniversary Flower Box, 3rd Anniversary Cupcake, and Puzzle: 2021 Fall Memories Decor Pikmin are the strongest against these mushrooms, so be sure to send them out to destroy them.

If you have a Nintendo Switch™ 2 or Nintendo Switch system and the Pikmin 4 game, there’s even more fun coming your way this November! Available in November 2025, this free update will let you try the Relaxed Creature Activity Level, where enemies take more damage and will never attack you first. If you’re a veteran player looking for a true test, take on Fierce Creature Activity Level to face down tougher enemies with fewer Pikmin.

This update also introduces Decor Pikmin to Pikmin 4 for the first time! Keep your eyes peeled and use the Field Camera to take photos of Pikmin wearing special outfits. Not only can you add these special Pikmin to your squad, but you can also edit your photos with stamps, filters, and more for maximum style!

All these features will be added to the free Nintendo eShop demo, so you can experience them as you get acquainted with Pikmin 4.
