Wichita, Kan.,– Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today a total of 25 aircraft orders were placed last week at AERO Friedrichshafen in Germany and the Sun ‘n Fun Fly-In in Lakeland, Fla., punctuating what company executives said were very successful shows in terms of orders and leads.

At Friedrichshafen, Cessna took orders for a Citation Mustang, making its international debut, two Citation CJ3s, one CJ2+, one 208 Caravan and 11 Skyhawk 172s. In Florida, the company booked orders for one CJ3, one Citation Mustang, one 208 Caravan, and six Skyhawk 172s.

“We are very pleased with the results of our participation in both of these important general aviation shows,” said Cessna Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Roger Whyte. “The final order results are an indication of the quality of these shows. Our hats are off to the organizers at both.

“Not only did we take orders on the spot, we had great discussions with others that we feel will lead very quickly to additional orders across the product line,” Whyte said.

AERO Friedrichshafen reported record attendance with 45,000 visitors over four days, its largest attendance to date for the bi-annual show. The weeklong Fly-In at Sun ‘n Fun had 160,000 attendees.
